Hi I'm Felix, a CELTA-certified English tutor with a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics. I have years of experience teaching ESL students of different age groups (mostly young adults and adolescents) here in Australia and also online. My CELTA training and practice experience over the years have allowed me to develop a flexible teaching style that introduces subjects/topics my students are interested in. My teaching philosophy is student-centred, communicative and supportive, as in my experience, most learning happens when the student engages in using the language to try to get meanings across. Therefore my classroom is a super comfortable learning environment where we can just talk about topics you are interested in. There is never "the student feeling they are talking too much in my class"; however, I will always give you both positive and constructive feedback on, for example, vocabulary, grammar, or pronunciation to help you develop accuracy, fluency and confidence. Say, If you find grammar rules too complicated to understand, fear not, I will give you the most relatable examples so you will understand immediately!
