Learn AutoCAD and Revit with Step-by-Step Practical Training for Architecture, Design and Engineering Students.

I’m Chelsea Silvera, an AutoCAD and Revit professional with a background in architecture and building design. I have been using AutoCAD since 2018 and also work with Revit for 3D modelling and drafting. Over the years, I have developed strong skills in creating accurate technical drawings, organizing CAD files, and understanding professional drafting practices used in real-world projects. My teaching approach focuses on practical and structured learning, where students learn by actively working on drawings rather than only listening to theory. I guide students step by step through commands, tools, and workflows so they can understand how AutoCAD and Revit are used in architectural and engineering projects. I start with the basics such as the interface, drawing tools, and essential commands, and then gradually introduce more advanced concepts like layers, blocks, annotations, layouts, and drafting standards. For Revit, I help students understand modelling, views, families, and project organization so they can confidently create and manage building models. I also support students with assignments, portfolio projects, and practical exercises to strengthen their skills. My goal is to help students become comfortable with the software while developing the ability to create clear, professional drawings and models independently. I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s level, whether they are beginners, architecture students, or professionals looking to improve their CAD and BIM skills.
