Elizabeth - Know your guitar teacher

I am a fully qualified Classical Guitar teacher with over thirty-two years of teaching experience. I provide personalized guitar lessons which include theory and practical training. I have taught all ages and levels, with most of my students starting from the age of nine. I will teach you how to read music and I will share the love of the Classical Guitar with you. I teach basic chord progressions, strumming techniques, scales and simple pieces suited to accompanying singing . All of my students have participated in Trinity or Associated Board of the Royal Schools Examinations with a 100% pass rate. I enjoy teaching individuals and groups and believe in the importance of developing a well rounded musician. I love playing duets with my students and believe that teaching and learning music should be enjoyable and fun for both teacher and student.

By following a well-structured curriculum tailored to cater to over 200 students, ranging from beginners to intermediate levels and encompassing both kids and adults, I ensure engaging and effective learning experiences. My strength lies in making complex concepts easy to grasp through interactive lessons, fostering a deep understanding of music and guitar playing for all my students. I enjoy sharing the love of music and the Classical guitar with my students and hope that we will share a musical bond for many years, as I did with my teacher.
