Christopher Evanick 🎸 Guitar Instructor 20+ Years of Experience Specializing in Electric and Acoustic Guitar About Me: Hey! I am a passionate guitar instructor with over 2 decades of playing and teaching experience. From when  I was very young, I was always moved and driven by music. My Grandmother taught me how to sing and memorize many children songs along with their multiple verses. When I was 5, my Dad sat me down and began helping me learn Stairway to Heaven—and I’ve been playing ever since. I’m self-taught by ear but also learned from my Dad, tabliture, and watching the masters at work on tv, movies and YouTube. This helps me explain music in a way that’s natural, fun, and easy to follow. Influences: From Classic & Psychedelic Rock, Blues, Folk, to more heavy, shredding, alt rock and punk. I also enjoy jazz, rhythm and blues, hip hop and some pop. Classical and contemporary composers also inspire me. Some of my favorite artists are Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, and the Grateful Dead. I could go on for hrs about bands and musicians who lit that fire! I want You to Build confidence and creativity. Whether you're a beginner just being introduced, playing a minute, or someone returning to the guitar after years away—my lessons are tailored to your style, speed, and goals. I create a laid-back but focused atmosphere where you can grow as a player and truly enjoy the journey. Your sound and vibe is waiting for You —Let’s turn up the volume and have some fun🎶

My weekly guitar sessions are a real highlight. Even though it's just Christopher and me, it feels more like a casual music session with a tutor who happens to be a guitar wizard. he's so easy to talk to I never hesitate to admit when I'm stuck or need clarification. The laid-back atmosphere he creates makes learning genuinely enjoyable. It's refreshing to learn so much without any of the stiffness of a traditional lesson.
