Cherith - Know your english tutor
Hi everyone! My name is Cherith and I am a native English speaker. My degree is in foreign languages and I speak French fluently as well as some Mandarin. I absolutely love grammar and I love analyzing the English language. While I have mostly taught French, I did teach English in Morocco. I personally put a huge emphasis on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation in all my languages. I love serious students and lesson planning. Learning grammar is a MUST If you want to be fluent. Also I love to teach American idioms and sayings as well have a lot- more than I can keep up with! With my extensive traveling around the world, I have noticed what non-native speakers struggle with the most and I definitely can assist with that. Whatever it is you want to focus on, I can assist. I am quite flexible. Whatever you need I can help with! I know how how it is to learn to another language.
Cherith graduated from Kennesaw State University

English classes overview
Since I speak a few languages, I know how difficult it is to learn a second language, and I have a lot of respect for that. I put a huge emphasis on vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. You have to learn grammar if you want to be fluent in a language. I’m very big on tailoring my sessions to what you personally need, and what you personally want to work on. I also want to have fun so since I’m big on culture, I’m big on American sayings and idioms that perhaps would be a lot harder to find online or on social media. They never teach slang in school! I have been told a lot during my travels that I have a good “neutral” accent, and a lot of people think I’m Canadian! I love people and I love teaching languages more than anything. I am very interactive with my sessions and I definitely expect you to participate and hopefully ask questions. Whatever you want to focus on, please let me know.
