Paulo - Violin teacher
I'm Paulo von Simson, a Bachelors-educated violin and viola tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and over 15 years of playing experience. I first started playing music when I was seven years old with the guitar. I then moved on to the viola in elementary school. From that I sought to grow and expand my knowledge in stringed instruments. I hope to do the same with my students. I specialize in Student Violin, Student Viola, Classical Violin, Classical Viola, Viola Lessons and Violin lessons, catering to beginners, adults, and advanced players. My passion lies in honing skills like Bow Techniques, Music Theory, and Rhythm while focusing on Posture, Scales, and more. I excel in personalized learning, ensuring each student masters Sight-Reading, Vibrato, and a rich Violin and Viola Repertoire. Let's hit the right notes together!

Specializing in classical viola and then learning violin later in my life, I cater to students of all levels, from beginners to advanced and even adults. With over 20 students in my audience and many more that I have taught in the past, I personalize tutoring to meet individual needs. I utilize a variety of tech tools like interactive online platforms, video tutorials, audio recordings, and sheet music apps to create engaging and effective learning experiences. By following a structured curriculum, I ensure comprehensive skill development, enhancing musical proficiency and confidence in each student's violin playing journey. Together we will learn and grow at your own pace while also engaging in challenging techniques.
