Jose - Know your guitar teacher
My father taught me to play guitar at age 13, with no formal training himself, I adapted an aural/visual method of learning repertoire for the first 3 years. Eventually at age 16, wanting to join the high school jazz band, I began learning to read traditional notation. Fast forward to now, with over 15 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in music, specializing in Guitar tutoring, I am your go-to expert for personalized Guitar lessons. From chord progressions to fingerstyle techniques, I cover anything and everything music! I am a charismatic teacher with extensive experience teaching students of all ages & levels. A 3rd generation musician by profession with roots in Latin music. Since graduating with honors from the Applied Music Program at Mohawk College I have performed all over the GTA various venues & events, including public, private & corporate; in solo, duo, band, ensemble and even big jazz orchestras.
