Jordan - Your piano teacher
Hello! My name is Jordan Dyck and I am a classically trained pianist, currently in my 3rd year of my Bachelor of Music degree at the University of Western Ontario. I've been teaching piano for about 3 years now, with students ranging from ages as young as 5, to students 60 and older. While I am most comfortable in playing classical music, my lessons include all different styles of music! My goal is to help you achieve your own individual goals, so that your lessons cover exactly what you need them to. Whether you've been playing for 10 minutes, 10 months, or 10 years, all levels are welcome to come and elevate your playing to the next level. My aim is not only to improve your skills but also to build confidence and inspire a lifelong love of music. Let's explore your musical interests and find ways to make every lesson both challenging and enjoyable.

I use a highly personalized teaching style for each of my students. I believe that the most fundamental aspect of music is having fun! If you aren't having fun, then you aren't playing music. That's why my sole focus is to help you achieve your goals. There is truly no one size fits all approach to learning music! Each lesson must be individually tailored to your specific needs and wants. I strive to create an engaging and supportive environment for students to explore both their instrument and their interests. Lessons shouldn't be some strict regiment where you have to play your scales 50 times correctly before you can play twinkle twinkle little start. My lessons are a place for exploration, discovery, and development. It doesn't matter whether you are looking to become the next Chopin or Elton John; as your piano teacher, my job is to help you achieve your own individual idea of success. So, lets start achieving together!
