About your spanish tutor

I’m Kenneth López, a Spanish tutor and Agronomic Engineering student from Colombia. I’m the kind of person who enjoys understanding things deeply—plants, soil, language, and people. That curiosity shapes the way I teach: patient, clear, structured, and always connected to real life. Music is a big part of who I am. I sing in a choir, and I love everything from sacred choral music to Latin American folk, contemporary arrangements, jazz, and even a bit of pop. Music has taught me discipline, listening skills, and how to guide others with rhythm and intention—qualities I bring into every lesson. I like to use melody, flow, and natural pacing to help students speak Spanish more confidently and expressively. I’ve been teaching Spanish for over a year, working with beginners, advanced learners, kids, and adults. My classes focus on practical Spanish you can actually use: clear grammar, real conversation, helpful vocabulary, and cultural insights drawn from everyday Colombian life. Sometimes I even bring music or lyrics into the learning process when it makes sense, because language lives not just in rules, but in sound. I’m patient, organized, and used to working with students who have specific learning needs. Whether you’re looking to improve your pronunciation, prepare for an interview, get homework support, or build confidence in speaking, I’ll guide you with a calm and supportive approach. If you want a Spanish tutor who brings culture, curiosity, and a genuine love for music into the learning experience, I’d be glad to help you grow and enjoy the language in a meaningful and personal way.

Spanish classes highlights

My teaching approach is practical, personalized, and designed to help each student feel confident using Spanish in real situations. I begin by understanding the student’s goals, interests, and learning style. From there, I build a tailored plan that focuses on clear explanations, meaningful practice, and steady progress. I combine structured grammar and vocabulary work with natural conversation so students can immediately apply what they learn. I use examples from everyday life, Latin American culture, and even music when it helps with rhythm, pronunciation, or expression. Because I am also a singer and part of a choir, I pay close attention to sound, clarity, and flow—skills that support better speaking and listening in Spanish. I adapt the pace to each student and provide gentle correction that encourages growth without creating pressure. Whether the goal is academic success, professional communication, interview preparation, or simply speaking with more confidence, I guide students step by step. I am also experienced in working with students who have specific learning needs, adjusting activities and explanations to ensure accessibility and comfort. My priority is to create a supportive, calm environment where students feel safe to practice, make mistakes, and truly enjoy the learning process. Overall, my methodology blends structure, creativity, cultural insight, and patient guidance to help every learner advance with clarity and confidence.
