Singing lessons highlights
As every student is unique, I personalize each plan based upon an initial intake, which will focus around the goals YOU have for yourself. After asking specific questions, it's my job to figure out what is getting in the way of you reaching your goal technically, practically, and mentally. Once I find that, I draw up a weekly plan and progress bench marks, with strategies, tools, and guidelines to reach each marker. As most students usually need help with technical, practical, and mindset issues, most plans will include guidance to improve in each of those categories. As a teacher, I believe it is my job to help you find out where you have misunderstandings, gaps in understanding, or limiting thoughts, but I believe it is important to always have your consent to move through those things. Your sense of safety always comes first. I also understand that growth cannot happen without discomfort. So, I will always bring awareness to those things and offer to challenge them if your sense of safety is in tact. Beyond that, I always aim to keep coaching relaxed and fun. We start music and performing because we love it and it brings us joy! So, let go, let yourself laugh, and enjoy the ride. :)
