Personalized coaching with excellent ear training and patient guidance in the process

My name is Jaden Felix Duppati. My experience teaching students comes from tutoring at Kumon and assisting with piano lessons. My piano skills primarily stem from learning the trumpet and ear training. Since the trumpet and piano are played in the same clef (the G-clef), it was easier for me to find my love for piano once again. Since I compared the clefs and learnt piano notes from playing the trumpet, most of my learning was self-taught. This process not only deepened my appreciation for music, but also gave me a unique perspective on how different instruments can complement one another. Experimenting with various styles and techniques, I found ways to bridge the gap between classical and modern piano, which has greatly enriched my teaching approach. I help students who have never played piano with no prior music background, never played piano but with prior music background (played other instruments), or both. My self-teaching consisted more of focusing on scales and chords in the earlier stages and later moving on to harder theory and improvisation. My style of piano playing is more personalized. What I tell myself and other people is that music is expressing yourself, and if it is expressing your personality and emotions, then whatever sounds good to you should be emphasized.
