Hello! My name is Chris Rozik and I am a guitar teacher with tons of experience and a passion for teaching you what you’d like to learn. I have been teaching guitar for more than 10 years and developed my own list of over 300 songs that are already notated and ready to be learned. I also am happy to say i can learn most things brought to me, so if you have something you’ve always wanted to learn we can focus on that. My philosophy on teaching is that if you learn what you like you’ll play more, therefore our lessons will be catered to your interests. I also teach piano, bass and ukulele. I have an associates degree in classical guitar performance as well as a bachelors degree in jazz guitar. I taught virtually throughout the pandemic as well so I am very comfortable with online lessons. I have taught at Guitar Center in Brooklyn as well as two different music stores in Philadelphia and currently still teach in Philadelphia. I play both pick style and fingerstyle and play a wide variety of genres. If you’d like a sample of my teaching, I have several instructional videos on Youtube, as well performances for samples of my playing. I know how much music has given to me and I enjoy attempting to give that back to others.
